The opening is a full-on ginger shot: fresh, spicy, and distinctly minty. For me, the ginger is clearly at the center and immediately sets the tone. As it develops, it becomes calmer. Musk and woody notes come through more strongly, accompanied by an aquatic freshness that keeps the fragrance light and summery. However, the big wow effect is missing for me. Surf the Ginger Wave is pleasant, fresh, and definitely well made, but nothing that I absolutely need to have in my collection? As an alternative for warm summer days, it still works well for me. If you like fresh, spicy, and aquatic profiles with plenty of ginger, you should definitely give it a try. Worth testing? Yes. Must-have? ..............For me, rather not.
